Ibumie Penang White Curry Mee (4 x 105g)
Penang: When Captain Francis Light set foot on the island in 1786, he gestured towards the ground and asked the welcoming natives for the name of the place. Strewn where he stood were beetle nuts, so the natives aptly replied, ”Pinang”.
This was how Penang got its name. So the story goes!
Penang’s Accolades – Spice Island, Pearl of the Orient, Prince of Wales Island – is also a Hawker Food Paradise. Its street cuisine boasts Penang Hokkien Mee (HarMee), Char Koay Teow, Curry Mee, Assam Laksa, Popiah and Chee Cheong Fun.
Now, a curry mee that you can take home. With fresh spices in a pasta (sambal) and a splash of creamer.
